The Farm is a nice place to eat. It is just a short ride west on rt 250 then pick up rt 150 toward Mt Pleasant. The ride on rt 150 is short and The Farm is on the right.

Cold Times

The weather has turned cold very fast, and so has the economy. Things will pick up, as it has always has. For right now enjoy your family and friends for the holidays.

The Century Inn

This was shared with us buy a friend.

It is a simple ride mearly head Esat on Rt 40 from Wheeling, WV
Go through Washington, PA to Scenery, Hill, PA it takes a little while to get there.
The are on the right when you get to Scenery Hill, PA

Just reverse travel to get home.
Simple but a beautiful ride.

Hog Heaven

From Bridgeport, OH Take Rt 250 West all the way to New Phildeliphia, OH
Just before you get to I77 take the Rt 39 exit
At the bottom of the ramp turn right Hog Heaven will be on your right.
When we left we took Rt 250 East to the the other side of Dennision, OH
Where we picked up Rt 800 south to
I70 east which we took to the next exit to pick up Rt 40 east back to Bridgport, OH

This takes a good afternoon of riding with stops at all the lakes.

Dee-Jay's Ribs

This ride starts in Wheeling, WV on route 40
Take Rt 40 east to Washington, PA
then pick up PA Rt 18 north. All the way to Rt 22
Take Rt 22 east to the Three Springs Drive Exit in WV Left at the top of the ramp to DEE-JAYS
After leaving continue east on Rt 22 to Weirton, WV
Then pick up WV Rt 2 south. Stay on Rt 2 back to Wheeling

Never really payed attention to how long it took or how many miles.
So fill up your tank and just enjoy the ride.

Drovers Inn ( Short Ride )

Starting from Wheeling, WV
Take WV Rt 40 east to
WV Rt 88 north through West Liberty, WV then through Bethany, WV to
WV Rt 27 west, a few miles later you will find Drovers Inn ( http://droversinn.net/ ) on the right.
Heading back we continue West on WV Rt 27 to Wellsburg, WV
Then pick up WV Rt 2 south back to Wheeling, WV
Ride time up about 40 min a little shorter on the way home.
Miles......... Not to far
The upstairs requires reservations
In the basement Dave serves it up first come first serve.

Adams Pine Creek Buffet (Long Ride)

Our ride started from Wheeling, WV area South on WV Rt 2 to New Martinsville then
We picked up WV Rt 7 East (Very nice road) to WV Rt 250 north/west but not very far
Then WV Rt 69 north that turns into PA Rt 18 when it crosses the border into PA
You will run into a section where PA Rt 18 and Pa Rt 21 run togather toward Waynesburg, PA
but you will turn off onto PA Rt 18 North just short of Waynesburg
Continue North on PA Rt18 toward Washington, PA
Turn right on PA Rt 221 South/East
You will come to an intersection where 221 makes a 90 deg right hand turn across a bridge
Do NOT make that turn go stright on Plumsock Rd to PA Rt 19
Take PA Rt 19 north, watch on your right for the Restruant at the
Corner of PA Rt 19 and Weaver Run Rd " Adams Pine Creek Buffet "
Our ride home had a few less direction changes.
We continued north on PA Rt19 to Washington, Pa
Where we picked up US Rt 40 west back to Wheeling, Wv
The ride covered approx. 165 miles and took about 6 hours that did include stops and the meal.
